The campsite at Hofsós is a sheltered campsite with electricity and a service building with cold and hot water, a dump station and toilet facilities for motorhomes. It is also short walk to the new, award-winning swimming pool at Hofsós.
There is a variety of activities on offer at Hofsós and in the surrounding area. There are walks around the old town by the Pakkhús (warehouse) and the quay, down to Grafarós and Staðarbjargavík, swimming in the award-winning swimming pool at Hofsós, visiting the Westfjords Heritage Museum and the Mining Museum at Stórageri. Þórðarhöfði is just down the road, and a walk to Þórðarhöfði is a great experience. There are good places to eat at Hofsós.
The opening times are from mid-May to late autumn, depending on the weather.
A great facility in a beautiful environment.
